Perceptional Process

According to the dictionary, "Perceptional Process" means the perceptual process is a sequence of steps that begins with stimuli in the environment and ends with our interpretation of that stimulus. This process is typically unconscious and happens hundreds of thousands of times a day. Perception includes touching, seeing, smelling, hearing, speaking, and tasting.
As I am an Asian, I think American look at me at a different ways. I talked different language, eat different food, look different, and act different. When I was in high school in Sandy, UT, I went to an international school. But, the teachers inside were local American. They were not respecting to us. I hate them very much. One of the teacher was kicked out because she said something very rude to a group of students, included me.
I know that speaking Chinese in front of American is weird. They think I am talking about them. This is what I learnt from my high school teachers. I really want to know if speaking Chinese in front of American is rude or not. Being a F-1 student in America is hard. You need to learn to speak English, learn the culture, and learn to adapt the environment.  Leaving you parents is a big deal, although you think you have no parent control, it is not what you think is.
McDonald was my first meal in St. George. I saw lots of things in my first meal. There was a female cashier; she was too slow taking order. And the old man that was in front of me felt nothing about the cashier. He was just standing there and waiting for order.  This was my first experience of ordering fast food. It pissed me off.
I visited a place that a bunch of homeless were living last year. I felt shocked. Because there are very few homeless in my country, so I felt disgusting that time. I know it was not proper to feel like that. But, my first thing when I came into the place was judge. I judge the smell, the appearance, and the behavior. When I recall about this experience, I felt so embarrass. I think we should be sympathy for the people that are in a bad time.
At last, I think Perceptional Process is very easy to happen in different culture. Cultural is the thing that changes human mind and their behavior easily.

The Authentic Self

I want to be perfect in everything. But, when I recognize that if you want to be perfect in something, you need to pay a lot of hard work and time. Nothing can be easily done. Sometimes being perfect is not good for us, people would repel you. I knew a girl from high school in Sandy, Utah. She is gorgeous, but so has no friend. She told me that girls do not want to be friend with her. Therefore, she came to school often. Although she is not being perfect for reasons, she was just looking perfect. I know people judge others by appearance. That is why I think being perfect sometimes is not what you think is.

Grace was strong, although she does not have any friends. She still went to school, and finish her school work. I think people who are struggling with bully or being repel should stay strong. Because If you stay strong, you won't get very hurt.

Try harder. I saw a poster that was in the international student office. It said" try, try again, try harder..." If you want to be success, you need to try. Do not get depressed.

My brother loves me very much, because he asked my mum to have a little brother, that's me. We always play video games together, but now he is working in an insurance company, and I am studying in US. So we don't have time to play anymore, I miss the time with my family.
